Is the other surviving tower along with the Joharia of the Palazzo dei Normanni, is home to the offices of the President of the Assemblea Regionale Siciliana. Currently appears with out decorations, but it appears from the traces, (probably battle scenes) in the zones in which were added lofts by the Spaniards, that it was entirely decorated with mosaics, following the codes that imposed a strong symmetry between the scenes depicted. According to tradition, during the time of Federico II, the tower was probably one of the meeting places of the Scuola Poetica Siciliana and an environment that the sovereign himself also attended.
