Le segrete at the same level of the Chiesa inferiore (below the Cappella Palatina) and also in the same origin of the “Arabo-Normanno” period is located under the Cortile della Fontana. The rectangular area, the largest of this part, is the one from which comes the name "Segrete", after the finding around the 1980s of the graffities, which are medieval ships depicted.
